i've been drinking lots of tea lately (thanks to my allergies) and rather than sweeten it with sugar i've been using honey. sugar has been really repulsive to me these days so i try to avoid it whenever possible. i just remembered a hilarious grad school episode involving honey. *chuckles*

his album dropped back in march but i haven't purchased it yet because well...it's a $30 import and that's just not in the budget right now. i caught a live show of his on xmradio yesterday and the boy is just all around dope. the first thing i ever heard from him was the osunlade remix of "so good today". when i played it for my sister she remarked "it sounds like an old house song but i can't think of which one", which is exactly why i loved it. luis baro played a new cut from him (remixed by i don't know who) called "hang around" that's also on the album. i need to bite the bullet and buy this album. check ben westbeech out on myspace.

aka 5411's. i bought a pair back in april for my friend's 80s bday party in metallic blue & pink but these are the ones i really wanted...the reignbow joints. i can't decide which color but it doesn't matter because i probably won't get them. however, if any of you are feeling generous i take a women's size 8 and i'll be happy with yellow or turqoise or green.

lol. next time you come to philly, try to visit bee natural in the reading terminal market (filbert street btwn 11th n 12th). they have HONEY CREAM & other gloriousness. the raw honey w/ propolis & stuff that'll help w/ allergy symptoms. & i can give you a sample of my bath bombs once i finish making the lil bastards.
