last night marked the beginning of my latest belly dancing session. i didn't realize how much i missed it until we started moving. i've been having terrible back pain for the past couple of months but after class i felt much better.
the class is all beginner except for me so we spent the whole hour stretching and doing isolations. i'm trying to focus more on technique this time around so all that isolation was fine by me. there were a good number of ppl there so i hope the group stays at that size.
ms. s asked me if i was going to be in the recital this year. of course i protested but of course i'll probably be in it. i definitely want to be in the salsa routine and doing both might be a bit much. who knows? maybe my stamina will be built up enough for it by then.
so yeah two dance classes now and i may start a cardio class on saturday mornings. i hate to blog about improving my health just because it's so personal but maybe putting it out there will help me stick to it. my treadmill is out of storage but i haven't used it yet. maybe all of this activity will spark me to hop on it. classes on tues, thurs, and sat...treadmill on mon, wed, and fri...rest on sunday. kinda God-like, huh? that could work.
